Very excited to announce that after completing the CAA approved A2CofC training course, I have gained an A2 certificate of Competency, which along with the acquisition of the DJI Mini 2 drone allows me to operate much closer to people than previously allowed under CAA laws.
This effectively means I'm legally able to offer aerial video and photography services in a much wider selection of locations in city and town centres which weren't previously possible.
Although very small and weighing only 249g, the DJI Mini 2 packs a powerful punch. Able to shoot video from full HD upto 4K at 100mbps in addition to a 12MP stills camera, the quality is excellent for online promotional and marketing films and the size allows it to be flown in previously inaccessible spaces such as inside factories and warehouses, sports and exhibition centres as well as hotel receptions! With a flight time of upto 30 minutes and able to fly in scale 5 winds, this is an amazing piece of kit.
This new addition complements my current DJI Phantom 4 Pro and the fact that I already have a Pfco (CAA permission for commercial UAV operations) and carry specialist drone insurance means we are ideally suited to cover any aerial video or photography work you need.
